About Us

Services

The Odyssey House Community Health Center provides behavioral health and primary care services to the New Orleans community at large and surrounding areas. 

We utilize evidence-based practices to deliver quality and timely care tailored to your needs. All of our services are available in person or through telehealth for your convenience. Learn more about our services below.

Payment

We accept Medicaid, Medicare, Wellcare, and Self Pay/Sliding Fee Scale. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There is a discounted/sliding scale fee schedule available based on family size and income.

 

We are a designated Medicaid Application Center and can assist you with applying for Medicaid.

OUR SERVICES

All services are available via telehealth or on-site at our two locations.

Primary Care

 

From conducting routine health screenings, to treating acute illnesses, to managing chronic health conditions, the medical staff at the Community Health Center address all areas of general adult healthcare.

Supportive Friend
Behavioral Health

 

OHL provides mental health care through primary care and Psychiatrists. We specialize in treating any array of acute and chronic issues including medication treatments for substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, and other issues.

Substance Use Services

 

Odyssey House Louisiana offers a range of addiction recovery services, from inpatient to outpatient care. Our outpatient program includes behavioral health therapy and medication-assisted treatment options like Suboxone, Subutex, Brixadi, Vivitrol, and Naltrexone. Reproductive Health

 

Services include cervical cancer screening (Pap smears), breast cancer screenings, mammogram referrals, contraception, lifestyle education to prevent health problems, management of UTI, vaginal infections, and other genitourinary issues.

Diabetes Education & Treatment

 

OHL CHC delivers comprehensive diabetes/hypertension care to Louisiana’s residents. OHL has the necessary resources and qualifications to provide diabetes and hypertension education services to the Louisiana community. 

Preparing for Blood Test
HIV/HCV Testing & STD Testing

 

Offering onsite rapid testing for HIV and Hep C, same day referrals for positive patients, as well as PrEP treatment and education.

COVID-19 Vaccine & Testing

 

The OHL Clinic is providing the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine! Walk-ins welcome every Friday from 9:00am-11:45am AND 1:00pm-2:30pm at 2700 S Broad Avenue.

Pharmacy

 

Community Clients at OHL's Health Clinic will be able to pick up all medications from 2700 S Broad Street. Medications will be ready for pickup by the end of your visit! If a community client cannot wait for their medications, medications will be delivered to their residence for free!
